Ozma of Oz finds Dorothy and her new friend, the talking hen Billina, shipwrecked in the mysterious Land of Ev. After narrowly escaping the evil Princess Langwidere, Dorothy is reunited with familiar companions the Tin Woodsman, the Scarecrow, and Cowardly Lion on a quest to rescue the royal family of Ev from the clutches of the tyrannical Nome King. But to win the royal family's freedom Dorothy and her friends must play the trickster King's games. Will Billina have what it takes to save the day?
